A threaded union is a kind of pipe fitting, that allows two pipes to be connected or disconnected easily. It consists of two female threaded ends that can be screwed onto the male threads of two pipes. Threaded unions are commonly used in plumbing and gas systems to allow for easy maintenance and repairs.
Forged pipe unions can bear high pressures like 2000psi, 3000psi, and 6000psi. Except for threaded types, there are also weld types.
