Backing Steel Flanges For HDPE Pipe

The backing steel flange is used in conjunction with a HDPE Stub End. The backing flange's material can be carbon steel hot galvanized or painted, or stainless steel. The manufacturing standards are TABLE D, TABLE E, BS4504 PN10 and PN16, and ANSI CLASS150/300 or AWWA C207 or AWWA C228. Mainly used for HDPE water supply and drainage pipelines. The most obvious difference between the HDPE pipe steel flange and the ordinary plate flange is that the inner diameter of the former does not need to be welded to the pipe, and its inner diameter must adapt to the outer diameter of the HDPE pipe, and its function is similar to a loose flange.
